WhatsApp Message Alone Cannot Prove Defendant Received Summons, Ex-Parte Decree Set Aside: Delhi High Court
The Delhi High Court has set aside an ex-parte judgment and decree passed against Nirmaljeet Singh, holding that the mere transmission of a summons through WhatsApp could not, in the circumstances of the case, conclusively establish that the defendant had actually received and become aware of the summons.
