The Delhi High Court has declined to release Rs.2,13,24,07,891/- deposited by Steel Authority of India Ltd in connection with an arbitration dispute involving British Marine PLC. The order was passed by Justice Vinod Kumar on 01 October 2026. Steel Authority of India Ltd had deposited a total of Rs.2,30,33,32,891/-, described as 50% of the decretal amount, pursuant to orders dated 18.12.2023 and 27.02.2024.
