The Karnataka High Court at Dharwad has dismissed an appeal filed by Giridhar Neelakant Pai seeking compensation for injuries suffered in a road accident. The judgment was delivered by Justice Geetha K.B. on 29 August 2026. Pai had sought ₹15,00,000 in compensation over an accident on 15 September 2010 on the NH-17 Ankola-Kumta road. He claimed he was the pillion rider of motorcycle KA-47/H-3116, allegedly ridden by Nagappa Pundalik Pai.…
