Civil Judge Cannot Dissolve Muslim Marriage in Suit Seeking Authentication of Talaq: Gauhati High Court

The Gauhati High Court has ruled that a civil judge has no jurisdiction to declare a talaq valid or to dissolve a marriage in a declaratory relief suit.
