The Delhi High Court recently dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of Sumit Singh, who was accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old minor girl in the Sangam Vihar area of South Delhi. The case was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 (POCSO Act, 2012).
