नहीं, भारत में कोर्ट मैरिज बिना गवाहों के नहीं हो सकती। स्पेशल मैरिज एक्ट, 1954 के तहत, शादी के लिए गवाह ज़रूरी हैं। मुख्य ज़रूरत: कोर्ट मैरिज के समय कम से कम 3 गवाह मौजूद होने चाहिए। गवाहों की भूमिका: वे दोनों पार्टियों की पहचान कन्फर्म करते हैं वे कपल की अपनी मर्ज़ी के गवाह होते हैं वे सबूत के तौर पर मैरिज रजिस्टर पर साइन करते हैं वे शादी के कानूनी रजिस्ट्रेशन को वैलिडेट करने में मदद करते हैं गवाह कौन हो सकता है: कोई भी एडल्ट (18+ साल) भारतीय नागरिक या निवासी वैलिड ID प्रूफ (आधार, PAN, पासपोर्ट, वगैरह) साथ रखना होगा ज़रूरी बातें: गवाहों के बिना, मैरिज ऑफिसर शादी नहीं करा सकता या रजिस्टर नहीं कर सकता। गवाह एक ज़रूरी कानूनी ज़रूरत है, ऑप्शनल नहीं। आमतौर पर दोस्त, रिश्तेदार या साथ काम करने वाले गवाह के तौर पर काम करते हैं। नतीजा: भारत में कोर्ट मैरिज रजिस्ट्रेशन और शादी के समय कम से कम 3 गवाहों के मौजूद रहने के बिना वैलिड नहीं है।
